Liam Pondside

As my father would say, here is Liam contemplating his blessedness. He was happy to be in shorts and a tee. His little sister climbed down the rocks to join him, "all by myself".

Jenny and Mark

Marcus and Jen kicking it in the leaves along Great Pond.

Beaver Trails

Ok, I just thought this was purty!

Vivz & her candy

After every house, Vivi seemed genuinely surprised that yet another household just handed her candy. In absolute heaven. She calls M&M's...M O M's. Liam discovered Heath bars this Halloween saying: "Hey Mom and Dad, I got some candy bar that is healthy." What's a little "L" between parents/children.

Great Pond Beauty

One of the many spots of autumnal beauty around Great Pond -- this reservoir the work of the local beaver.

Great Pond Hike

November 1st -- you could not ask for a more beautiful, sunny and warm...simply perfect day. We had a lovely 2 hour hike with the whole family through the woods and around Great Pond, part of our town's land trust holdings. Liam and Marcus caught roughly 25 salamanders, mostly northern redbacks, but Liam thinks he caught his first 4-toed salamander. Notify the authorities!

Happy Halloween

Here Liam counts and organizes his Halloween take. Our dead end street only has a handful of kids who all trick or treat together...so the neighbors essentially dump their candy bowls in these lucky rascals' sacks. Liam was a Ninja, Marcus a ghost/hobo, and Vivi--a Princess-what else would she be?
