Ice climbing

Liam tests his footing on an icefall on a rock
hike in Cape Elizabeth along the ocean. The
wind made it feel around zero fahrenheit along
the ocean, but we were pretty well bundled.

Vivi at 5 months

Here Vivi is emerging from her bath. She
loves the water, kicking and slapping at
it most vigorously.

Perfect Storm

The snow from this storm clung perfectly to the trees. Not
a bough was unfrosted. This view is from our backyard.

New Year's Eve snowstorm

We arrived back from Chicago to another 6 inches of snow,
making it Maine's 3rd snowiest December on record. This
view is from the front of our house. Today, we made a new
snowman and followed deer tracks through the wetlands
and deep into the pine forest behind our house.
