Liam on today's Cliff Hike

Liam likes to taunt me and challenge me to race him along
the rocks. After he outruns me in one direction, he often
requests to be piggybacked for the return trip.

"The Cliff Hike Project"

Liam and I, and sometimes Marcus, have established a
project that we call "The Cliff Hike Project". Our stated
goal is to hike every nook and cranny of the Cape Elizabeth
shoreline, from South Portland to Scarborough. Today
was the fourth installment in our series. Here, we were
south of Crescent Beach State Park. Some parts are quite
rugged and rocky, whilst other portions are cobble or sandy
beaches.

Vivi in Floral - She is 2 Weeks old

To celebrate her two week birthday, Viviana abandoned
her traditional pink to don this beautiful floral outfit, a
gift from Chrissy and KT. She is styling!

Marcus on the rocks

Marcus has finally become somewhat sure-footed on rocks
and cliffs. Thankfully, he still has a healthy fear of steep
rock ledges...a character trait that his brother sorely lacks.
Liam still thinks he is invicible on rock.

Boys' Hike

Liam, Marcus and I took a lovely 2 hour hike on the
rocky ledges in Cape Elizabeth, from the cove near
our home to the famous Lobster Shack. This lighthouse
is along the way.

Vivi is 1 week old

Our baby girl turned one week old today.
She celebrated with a walk to the beach
and 12 dirty diapers. My sister Kim's
family came to view her in person. All
six Cramer family members held her
and Vivi was content with the whole crew.

1st Family Photo

As you can see, the boys were very cooperative in our first
family photo at the hospital. Photo credits go to Sister
Marcey Bailey. Marcey arrived two days ago and has been
at our stovetop/oven for what seems like 48 hours and now
has successfully filled our freezer with all sorts of yummy food.
She did more cooking in 2 days than I've done in the last 2 years.

Mommy Brings Vivi home

Mom is very happy to bring a girl into this
house of fellers. This is moments before
we were discharged from the hospital in
Portland. She continues to be a sweet peaceful
little love, only crying when it is time to dine
(Vivi, not Jenny).

Who loves Daddy

This cherub loves Daddy...she is so alert and curious.
She loves to stare into Mommy's and Daddy's eyes.

Daddy's Lil Girl

Finally someone took a picture of me with my little girl!!
I only had to wait 28 hours (and 100 photos) before I was
included in a pic. Who can blame them?

The Protective Big Brother

I love this tranquil photo of the loving big
brother and the peaceful little sister. Check
out her mitts. She might give Honus Wagner
a run for his money.

Marcus and Vivi

Marcus is very excited to shed his title of little brother
for his new title of "Big Brother". He cannot get enough
of holding the wee gal.

Baby Sister Arrives!

Welcome Viviana Jacquelyn Bailey Wagner!! A mouthful
indeed. A big bundle of joy, at 8 pounds 14 ounces. We are
all smitten. She arrived August 9, 2007 at 11:01 am. Mother
and daughter are healthy and happy. When I saw them an
hour ago, they were staring into each other's eyes.

Watermelon, sand, and gestation

Jenny and Marcus at Kettle Cove. Marcus,
unlike Liam and me, loves watermelon, whenever,
and wherever. Jenny, as shown here, is 5 days shy of her
due date. Quite the lovely pregnant mommy, eh!

Maine Summer Chillin

Marcus and I cooling down in the Atlantic
at Kettle Cove Beach, about 1 kilometer from
our house. I load the boys into the bike
trailer and pedal them down here a coupie
times a week. More often, we go to the
beach on our street, on foot or on bicycle.
