Daddy and Vivi

Here I am with my lil gal Vivi on
the beach trying to walk off some
turkey 'n stuffing.

Liam and Marcus do the sunset scamper
on the rocks and seaweed on Kettle Cove,
the day after Thanksgiving. We were pleased
to have my father, and my brother Dan
join us for our repast. We also fetched our
Christmas tree...

My Dad and Butt Laps

Here my father Jim poses against the old butt
lap clapboards on the side of his 1820 general
store in Corinth, Maine. With melancholy and
many fine memories, Dad, brother Dan, Liam
and I bid adieu to the old structure that was my
summer home for 7 summers (ages 7-14)...it will
soon be torn down.

Vivi ready for the cold

Mommy wanted to try on
Vivi's dress-up coat. Look
at me, Grandma Marlene!
She enjoyed it so much that
I couldn't get her to take it
off. Oh no, already showing
her sartorial proclivities.

A warm November in Maine

After a lovely woods/field hike on Sunday, Liam,
Marcus and I ended up playing barefoot on the
beach, cherishing an unusually warm November
in coastal Maine.

Vivi "Jah Love" Wagner

Vivz can pull off blond pigtails or
dreads with ease.

Marcus da Rastadude

No, that's not a pipe, but from
the look of his eyes and his dreads,
I'm starting to worry that when
he helps Jenny "garden", he might
be planting some "homegrown".

Vivi with her tricycle chauffeur

Vivi develops her own genre of cycling!

Me in Liam's Mask

Here I am modeling Liam's papier-
mache "Alien" mask (which, since it
was the day after Halloween, he refused
to wear). I made 2 such masks with the
boys, not having done papier-mache
since I was a child with my folks. It
had slipped my memory that it took a
couple applications and a couple days of drying.
...And lots of cleaning up surfaces of flour
paste.

Marcus as Frankenstein

Marcus in the Frankenstein
mask crafted by his mom. A
90+ year old lady on our street
asked him what he was, to which
he responded "Frankenstein"...she
said: "Oh, Lincolnstein...scary"
Perhaps Lincolnstein pre-dated the
Frankenstein franchise.
