Florida is for the birds

Here a troup of Brown Pelicans, with the Night
Heron looking on, delights Liam and Marcus.
The amount of large avian species in this area is
stunning...also regularly sighted are Blue Heron,
Snowy Egrets, Great Egrets, ...

Vivi at the Tampa Zoo

Sure I'm biased...but are you
kidding me, can you get any
cuter. Those pigtails, those
ruffles on her skirt. I just love
having a little girl! Who knew
that I'd have so much fun playing
dress up.

Vivi's been framed!

Here Vivi hams it up at a playground
in Clearwater, Florida.

Marcus the Trainer

Marcus following in his big brother's
footsteps, gets to touch and feed this
big dolphin. The boys couldn't believe
their good fortune.

Liam's new friend

Liam must be dreaming--here he gets up
close and personal with a dolphin at the
Clearwater Aquarium. He touched his snout,
fed him fish, and gave him a pat on the head.

Florida Boat Tour

Here our clan is with Grandma and Grandpa

Bailey on a boat tour out to Shell Island, a nature

preserve off of St. Pete's Beach in Florida. We

gathered cool shells, saw dolphins, birds and

a stingray!

Bug Light

Looking out to Casco Bay and its islands from
South Portland's "Bug Light". Perhaps "warm"
weather is here to stay.

Vivi's Latest Look

Vivi shows off her long locks. She is a big
20 months, 1 week old. She is now putting
little sentences together, mostly learned from
her big brothers and containing the words
"candy" or "ice ceam." Much worse, however,
due to her brother's urging, whenever I try to
sing a tune, she says: "Daddy, shut up."
