My friend Jamey Doughty eyeballing the placid waters of Lake Richardson in northwest Maine -- lots o' fish. This was the vantage point from our campfire.

We visited Jenny's best friend from high school, Erin, just north of Milwaukee. All the kiddies enjoyed the splash pool and Liam and I scaled the bluffs below their house down to Lake Michigan. DIG Vivi's hat.
Here Liam is at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. It almost appears that he is in the Black Bear's habitat, but much to Liam's chagrin, a thick glass plate separated them. We did see a black bear cub in the northwoods of Wisconsin a couple of days later.
