A frigatebird off our zodiak's stern with the island of Isabela in the background. The boys love frigate birds and both bought toy replica frigatebirds just today. Isabela is the largest of the islands in the Galapagos archipelago. It has 5 active volcanoes, where 4 or 5 subspecies of the giant tortoise live. The sub-species that lived on Fernandina was obliterated after recent volcanic activity.

Liam in all his glory. This is the moment he has been waiting for...a real live boa constrictor wrapped around his neck. We practically had to pry his hands off of the serpent. Marcus and Jenny also held this "culebra." I was on camera duty. This was at a reptile center in Quito, Ecuador.
