Bilbao Modernism

Outside the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is this gigantic
spider sculpture (with marble eggs in tow). The bright
red suspension bridge provides a nice contrast. We saw
the Guggenheim exterior and its environs late night, after
the quiet city had shut down. Most of us found it compelling;
though one of our crowd declared it "unsafe at any speed."
